“Artist’s” commentary

Yes, at first, I really was using a golf pencil and a magic marker. My methods may have improved dramatically since this strip, but the quality has stayed pretty much the same.

Adam’s font is Monaco, which is what I use for all my programming. It doesn’t do italics or bold, so I decided to use IRC markers instead.

That screenshot of the next strip in Comic Life is called “foreshadowing.” I’ll pause here so you can take a moment to write that down.

Adam
I’m creating a new webcomic with a golf pencil, a magic marker, and a comic-generating program I found on my hard drive.
Mike
Can I see it?

Panel 2

Adam shows Mike his comic so far (it’s actually a screenshot of strip #3).

Adam
Well, whaddia think?

Panel 3

Mike
Don’t quit your day job.

Panel 4
