"Artist’s” commentary

Coming up with the name “Wanker Walrus” actually took me a while. I wanted something that was original and cute, yet offensive. Something that could not possibly refer to anything good. Apologies to anyone my naughty language has offended. I never said this comic would be family friendly. I even have a parental advisory on the about page. For future reference, the “F” word occurs once too, several months from now.

Narrator
Step Five: Take a complimentary eraser and magic marker from the elementary school on parents’ night.

A teacher watches Adam rummaging through a filing cabinet.

Teacher
Whose father are you again?
Adam
Does your school have a “Jenny?"
Teacher
…Yes
Adam
Okay, let’s go with that.

Narrator
Step Six: Try to develop some brilliant, original characters.

Mike is looking at the computer over Adam’s shoulder.

Mike
Wanker Walrus? You’re out of your mind.

Step Seven: Admit to yourself you have no hope of doing that, either.

Adam is once again crying into his beverage at a bar.

Step Eight: Draw some stick figures with a pencil, correcting your mistakes with the eraser.
