Commentary

I used to like that song before I moved here. Now I appear to be the only person in a three block radius that actually sleeps. And the people that don’t sleep are really heavily into shouting and illegal fireworks.

When your window opens to an alley between buildings that’s a huge echo chamber, and when you’ve noticed your air conditioner adds $20 to your electric bill, a city that doesn’t sleep quickly becomes extremely annoying.
