Doesn’t it seem a little odd to you? Does it seem odd that in three months I’ve seen these people exactly once? It does to me, especially since it seems that these new neighbors (I’m convinced now that there are actually two of them) might be the only people in my complex besides myself who don’t make extremely loud noises in the alley between buildings at four AM.
It’s also a little odd because I happen to know (from my previous neighbor) that I’m a loud neighbor. I keep weird hours, weigh enough to make the floorboards squeak, and have some heavy duty speakers and an addiction to music that borders on bizarre.
You’d think they’d at least have yelled at me once or twice by now. Doesn’t it seem a little odd that they haven’t?
