Websites
Dan is personally responsible for the existence of a couple websites besides this one. And here they are.
The Springfield Foot Clinic
The Springfield Foot Clinic is a podiatry practice in Springfield, Ohio owned and operated by my parents. The site, which I finally convinced them to have me set up after approximately two years of trying, describes their office and offers links to some APMA pages about feet. I have a history of foot problems, so I can say from experience that the doctor knows what he’s doing. So, if your foot hurts and you live in western Ohio, give their site a look.
Miami Tradition
Miami Tradition is a social networking site created from the ground up using Ruby on Rails. This project was commissioned by a man who is, by a wide margin, the most positive, outgoing person in the universe. And while he seems happy with the finished product, I still can’t for the life of me figure out what the point of the site is. He says it’s “like Facebook, only less creepy,” but then, I never understood the point behind Facebook, either. Whatever the point may be, go over there and click on some ads. All his proceeds go to the Make a Wish foundation. The screenshot says “Miami Success,” but that’s just because it was added before he had me switch the buzzwords.
Hire Dan
Think of this as a sort of personal web design portfolio. If you like what you see, you can send me an e-mail describing your internet dreams, and I’ll let you know whether I can help you. I work mostly with PHP and Rails, but I know a bunch of other stuff. I’m keeping myself fairly well occupied with school and SDT, but I may be able to fit your project in somewhere.
